An Easy Way to Raise Extra PTA Funds This Christmas

Turn Christmas shopping into funds for your school community, with no fair, stall or sponsored event to organise

Christmas is one of the busiest and most valuable times of year for PTA fundraising. But it is also the time when volunteers, school staff and families have the least time to spare.

That is why The Curiosity Box has created a simple Christmas affiliate programme for PTAs, PTFAs, Parents and Friends Associations, Friends of groups and other eligible organisations.

It is a low-effort way to raise extra funds through purchases people were already planning to make. Your supporters can choose engaging, hands-on STEM gifts for the children in their lives and, when they use your unique code at checkout, your organisation receives 10% of the purchase value, excluding VAT and postage.

There is no Christmas fair to organise, no stock for your committee to store and no volunteer rota to fill. Register, receive your code and share it with your community.

How does the affiliate programme work?

Getting started is simple:

1. Email help@curiosity-box.com to tell us that your PTA or organisation would like to take part.
2. We will register your organisation and give you a unique code.
3. Share the code with your school community and beyond including parents, carers, staff, grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends and family.
4. When somebody shops at The Curiosity Box and enters your code at checkout, their eligible purchase is recorded against your organisation.
5. We give your organisation 10% of the purchase value, excluding VAT and postage.

The more widely the code is shared, the more opportunities your organisation has to raise money.

Christmas shopping people were going to do anyway

Families are already thinking about Christmas presents. This programme gives them a way to choose a brilliant STEM gift and support your organisation at the same time, without being asked to attend another event or make a separate donation.

Our practical STEM products are designed to spark curiosity and get children thinking, making and experimenting. They are gifts children can genuinely get stuck into and every qualifying order placed with your code helps to build your fundraising total.

Why have we made the Christmas shop pre-order?

Our single boxes were so popular last Christmas that we sold out very quickly. We do not want families to miss out again.

This year, our Christmas shop opens for pre-orders on 18 September 2026. The pre-order system helps us plan stock and prepare orders so that more families can get the gifts they want. Christmas pre-orders will be dispatched closer to Christmas.

When will your organisation be paid?

If purchases have been made using your unique code, your first payment will be made on 31 October 2026. Payments will then be made at the end of each month until 31 January 2027.

We chose this schedule deliberately. Money raised early in the campaign could help your PTA or Friends group pay for Christmas activities or festive enrichment for children, while later payments can support resources, experiences and plans for the new term.

A passive fundraiser, not another job for your committee

We know how much work PTA and Friends volunteers already do. Traditional events can be joyful and bring a school community together, but they also need planning, people, time and energy.

This programme can sit quietly alongside everything else you do. Once your code has been created, your main task is simply to keep sharing it. Newsletters, WhatsApp groups, emails and social posts, and with the wider circle of family and friends who may be shopping for children this Christmas.

No wrapping tombola prizes. No counting change. No worrying about the weather. Just a simple code that turns eligible Christmas shopping into extra funds for your organisation.
