The Fully Charged Battery STEM Box
KS2 students will explore STEM, through stories about a real world challenge. One Fully Charged Box provides all the equipment you need for approximately 10-12 hours which equals 2 days or 1 hour a week for a term of activity time for a class of 30. There are items in the box which can then be re-used for other classes, and each box maps onto the KS2 STEM curriculum, making this a valuable resource for any school.
Take a look inside a box:
Fun Facts about our Fully Charged Battery STEM Box:
- The engineering Champion linked to this box is Gabriel Krenzer
- Each kit contains collectable lab kit such as timers, test tubes and beakers so you can build your classroom STEM resources
- We’ve never used single use plastic packaging (and are working with suppliers to try and stop them doing it too!)
- We invent and manufacture all our boxes in Oxfordshire. See some behind the scenes footage of our boxes being tested in our cadet lab here
- Postage will be added at checkout

* Please note, some parts are unavoidably consumable and will need to be replaced. Check out our top-up items to be able to re-run this box with other classes in school. Contents of the box may vary from the image shown.

Katrina –
A superb resource. The lemon battery activity went down a storm and we even collaborated to make a huge battery to see just how much power could be generated.
Teacher notes are very easy to follow and full of interesting suggestions . Definitely worth reading in advance and checking out the online links as well.
The electric art kit is quite fiddly and definitely needs some adult help but is very effective and a good way to revise circuits .
The car is also quite fiddly so this is very much for Y5/6 unless you have a lot of helpers. I’ve used as an after school club activity and the children have been so engaged that we have extended each activity to make best use of all the resources. Everything provided is of good quality and gives children a finished product to be proud of A particularly great resource is the battery packs with easy to clip onto terminals! A revolution! Made completing circuits so much easier. So useful to have everything together ready to go and the addition of prizes is s neat touch as well. Really cannot fault this box and am so pleased that so much can be reused. Highly recommended
